My journey with dogs began when I was just 16 years old. Long before I understood pedigrees or bloodlines, I knew one thing for certain — I loved animals. Dogs weren't just a hobby to me; they became a passion that would eventually shape my life's purpose.
Like many people, my path wasn't always easy. I experienced seasons of uncertainty, setbacks, and some of the darkest moments of my life. During those times, my dogs became much more than companions. They gave me purpose when I felt lost, responsibility when I needed direction, and hope when I couldn't always see what was ahead. Caring for them reminded me that every day was another opportunity to keep moving forward.
Over the years, I've worked with several incredible breeds — including Pit Bulls, Neapolitan Mastiffs, and American Bullies — each offering qualities I admired. But I was still searching for one breed that embodied everything I valued.
To me, the South African Boerboel is the complete package. It combines incredible power with intelligence, unwavering loyalty, natural protective instincts, sound temperament, and a commanding presence that is impossible to ignore.
